5 TENSE WE FREQUENTLY USE

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Used to express habitual actions or routines and general facts.
(I, YOU, THEY, WE) → use [DO]  
(SHE, HE, IT) → use [DOES]

FORMULA :
(+) S + V1 (s / es)
(-) S + do / does + not + V1
(?) Do / does + S + V1

EXAMPLE


- They go to campus by bus

SIMPLE PAST TENSE
Used to declare a sentence that happened in the past.

FORMULA :
(+) S + V2
(-) S + did + not + V1
(?) Did + S + V1

EXAMPLE:
          
 we (like) the beach so much (she)
(+) He like the beach so much
(-) He do not like the beach so much
(?) Did we like the beach so much

PAST / PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
 used to express the ongoing activity, while PAST used to declare the ongoing activity yesterday.

FORMULA :
(+) S + Be + Ving
(-) S + Be + not + Ving
(?) Be + S + Ving

Note: Kalo tidak ada kata kerja dipake AAN (Adjective , Adverb , Noun)
           Contohnya : -     Justin was in love with selena

    (?) Are they going to campus by bus?

  SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
sed to express events that have not occurred, still in rencakan, or events in the future.
 
FORMULA :
(+) S + Will + V1
(-) S + Will + not + V1
(?) Will + S + V1
Example :
1.Cikal will finish his study in 2020
   (-) Cikal will not finish his study in 2020
   (?) Will Cikal finish his study in 2020?
2. Jul will get married in 2023
     (-) Jul will not married in 2023
     (?) Will Jul married in 2023?

PERFECT PRESENT TENSE
Used to declare events that have occurred and the result still feels / looks.

Formula : (+) S + has / have + V3
(-) S + has / have + not + V3
(?) Has / have + S + V3

EXERCISE :

1. She (drink) coffee. (S. Past)
Answer : (+) She drank coffee

                  (?) Have they started the course?
3.  Ana and Linda (open) the account (Past Cont)

4. The bank (close) at 5pm (S. Present)
Answer :(+) The bank close at 5pm
